I used to think that as well. Of course, you are restricted but there is much worse than stuttering. There is a saying "don't let your \[disability\] define you". Obviously, it influences who you are in the end, but there is a truth to that, if you know what I mean. You shouldn't let it define you to the point where you say to yourself that you can not do anything because of it. It's just not true. A major factor in severity of a stutter is the mental aspect (for everyone with a stutter I know, about 20 people). Having a more positive attitude towards it ~~can~~ will help!
