Teenager Stuttering That Comes and Goes Hey, I have a question about my stutter that I can't really find any information about online. I thought some of you bros could help me :) I'm 17 and I have a very mild stutter. I've had mild stuttering my whole life, especially in my childhood, but it was gotten much better as I've gotten older. I find that my stuttering today comes and goes. I stutter most often when talking to adults and placing orders at restaurants. I can go 3 months without stuttering at all, but then go 3 months always stuttering when placing orders. I do stutter when talking to my friends my age, but most of it is nonverbal and a struggle to start speaking. The verbal stuttering I do make is very quiet. I was wondering if anyone else is like this or knows some info on this. While I consider myself fortunate to overcome most of the stuttering in my life, it kinda bums me out that I can't completely get over it.
