If you’re worried about an unopposed alpha stimulation there’s no reason not to take metoprolol or atenolol instead, as they are selective. May I ask what exactly you need them for? Beta blockers dont do much for anxiety or stuttering, they just mask the tachycardia which can feel like a knob in your throat, but that’s about it.
