Therapy doesn’t “fix” the defect, what it does is teaches you ways to manage and cope with it, and hopefully working strategies to get around some blocks. I stutter, and I’m not broken, and neither are you. You’re a perfect human being and don’t let anyone ever tell you otherwise, and you better not tell urself ur broken. Stuttering sucks, but the way I see it you can let it get you down or you can own it. You know one nice thing about stuttering? It’s easy to see who your real friends are. Some of my “friends” have made fun of my stutter before. Turns out they were pretty bad friends. I know nothing I say can just snap you out of depression, but i promise if you keep going things will get better
