I have a stutter as well. I partially agree with what you are saying, but I think stuttering is a disorder that involves a breakdown of translating thoughts to words. When we write, we are trying to express ourselves, much like when we are speaking. That’s why you also see people who stutter even have more erratic movements with their hands when they are communicating in sign language
