That’s the deal with stuttering… We earn our fluency/good speech daily. Which is why there can never be a cure. So now that we got that out-of-the-way, you can still have the life that you want to have. It just takes work, practice,… And in my opinion, using a new set of techniques, not based on breathing or easy onset, word shaping, but more coming from the perspective of self-image, self beliefs, the subconscious mind etc. What I found from my own experience of overcoming my stutter, was that it takes a whole ‘nother set of skills (not taught by most), and daily practice, to have good speech out in public, in the real world. But it is possible. Wishing you an easier path forward.
