(this is another video than the one in this thread) There are two ways behaviorally speaking to create a speech block: \- breathing stops (eg. as you said - the cords are closed) \- the tongue/jaw movement stops In my own experience, when I stutter it's always the second 'way' which is: the tongue/jaw stops moving. The woman that prolongs a stutter is also breathing out (because we can hear her) but she is not moving her tongue to the next mouth position. What is your opinion? Do you agree with my viewpoint?
