He will say “hey daddy, C...(freezes for 2 seconds)...AN we go downstairs and read a book?”, honestly it’s the only word. I’ve asked him if he’s faking it and sometimes he kinda smiles and admits he is, but if I catch him in an off mood and accuse him of faking he gets really defensive. Other times when he is just riffing he says it easily, and I’ll say hey buddy you just “Can” with no problem. He will then repeat the sentence but struggling again this time. Is this for attention? Have you heard of such a thing?
