I'm 26, and have stuttered as long as I can remember. My first job was at a grocery store, then military, correctional officer, now a casino. Most good managers / supervisors don't care if you stutter or not. If you do good work, then you'll be good in their books. Now of course there will always be that person where ever you go that will say something. That's just life. And life has a lot of AHs. It's going to be weird and awkward at first, but that's mainly due to the new environment and new people. Once your coworkers get to know you and they accept you, it's like a weight is lifted off your shoulders. You got this. Make sure when you leave your job, your manager says 'Damn I lost a great worker.'
