First thing is, good job for coming onto this subreddit, that really shows that you care :) \- Support him when he needs to vent and ask him if he knows what you and your wife could do to help him bc not everyone thinks the same way \- Don't complete his sentences (and look up other things that typically annoy stutters) \- Encourage him to try a support group (if he goes to therapy ask them for tips on ones nearby). You and your wife could also see if there are parent support groups (even just for overall speech impediments)/facebook pages (idk if this is a thing) \- Stay up to date on stuttering info but don't push it onto him, he may grow out of caring about the stutter while still having it \- Lowkey show famous people that stutter not just actors who don't stutter acting like they do in movies, kids need representation. I say lowkey bc as a stutterer, it's nice to see representation but a little weird when my mom points it out.
