If I'm on the phone with a customer service representative from a phone, internet, etc. company, sometimes they will say that the connection is breaking up. After mentioning that I stutter, they become very apologetic (likely because "we monitor all calls for quality assurance and training purposes") and sometimes offer me a special deal to apologize for their ignorance. It's definitely a frustrating situation, but at least something good comes out of it sometimes?
