Hiding in plain sight. Many PWS avoid speaking as much as they can. They use tricks to get around their stutter. i.e they hide their stutter. There are different severities. Some of us have achieved fluency. If you and I met today you would never know that I suffered from a severe stutter until I was in my mid-20s.
