Thinking of trying stutteringdoctor.com out, I really want to talk fluently :\ Hey Reddit. I'm 17 years old and a junior in high school. I've been stuttering all my life and frankly I'm tired of how I live my life with it. I'm embarrassed to talk on the phone to people other than my family and it's always been hard to talk in class and in social situations, etc. I don't stutter when I'm alone, so I've deduced that it's some sort of mental block that I have when talking to people (or even recording myself, knowing that I have the intention to play it for someone else). I really want to overcome this and I've been looking into ways to talk fluently. A family member has shown me http://stutteringdoctor.com/ and I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the program. It's priced at a cost that I can afford and, at least from the site, I feel like it's a legit service.
