In many ways Stuttering is very similar to bad eyesight or bad hearing. For bad eyesight/hearing we use technology (eyeglasses/hearing aids). The same goes for bad speech (stuttering). You use Delayed Auditory Feedback (DAF) which is wonderful. I use the Edinburgh Masker (EM) which is also a real game changer. I was a Professor for many years with no problems. I use the EM all the time and it is wonderful. To get through the placement tell them you stutter and the DAF does the same function for speech as eyeglasses and hearing aids do for vision and hearing. And always remember **TEACHERS DO IT WITH CLASS**
