For me at least, I only get 5 application slots in the end and my shortlist has less than 10 universities on it so what I mostly did was just check forums or ask people who go there (you can probably do this on reddit or The Student Room). A lot of the time, universities have AMA threads by current students who are representing them on sites like TSR so you can directly ask a current student about it. I do recommend to check, even if you just email the university directly, simply because if you are going somewhere for at least a year and spending a lot of money you want to make sure you won’t be disadvantaged. The thing I linked is a paper that was published to guide universities in supporting students who stammer. It details a lot of the reasons that somebody who stammers might feel impeded during university and then offers recommendations of what can be done to mitigate the disadvantages caused by stammering. It is good for you to read this because it means that you can advocate for yourself with a clearer idea of the specific problems you might encounter and how the university can help you before you encounter the problem yourself. For me, my course is not too common so I already had a list of Unis and just had to strike some off but it really depends on where you were already considering to apply to?
