Navigating my relationship with Jesus whilst having stutter So I just want to talk about my experience being a Christian and how God has comforted me during my hard times navigating this stutter journey. I was brought up in a Christian household and went church every Sunday, so I would often hear the common ‘have faith’ ‘God will heal you’. When I was a kid sometimes I would get annoyed because even though people meant well I didn’t want to believe that this may be my life forever, so I grew in denial a little bit but knowing that God was real and that only he could help me no matter how that looked like, whether that was healing or just true comfort that I’m loved and seen no differently. He said that I have soo much purpose to look forward to. Fast forwarding to last year I experienced Gods love soo differently. As I was spending time with him reading the Bible and through the people he sent to encourage me, he let me know that my story is unique and there are soo many people that can be touched through me, I may not talk perfectly but through my faith that may help someone to never give up. I would often hear about the story of Moses, so I finally looked into it. Moses in the bible had a stutter but God had soo much more for him, he was called to help the Israelites be free from slavery but he was scared to talk to the king. Exodus‬ ‭4‬:‭10-12 ”Then Moses said to the Lord, ‘My Lord, I cannot speak well. I speak slowly and I speak with difficulty. I never could speak well. And even now, when you have spoken to me, I still cannot speak well.’“ ”Then the Lord said to Moses, ‘Who has made human mouths? Who makes a person that cannot speak? Who makes a person that cannot hear? Who makes a person who can see, or who cannot see? It is I, the Lord God!“ ”Now go! I will help you to speak well. I will teach you what you must say.’“ ‭‭ As you’ve read, Moses was scared but God stated that his the one that can only help him and give him strength, so that made Moses have faith and he went with his brother Aaron and they spoke to the king and freed the Israelites. By Moses being fearless he helped many people! He may not have been healed but his purpose was far more important and his faith is what allowed God to reward him. I say this to say that JESUS LOVES YOU SOOO MUCH! Just because you have this stutter doesn’t make you weird or incapable of fulfilling the will of God in your life . Walk fearless like Moses did and trust God that he will be with you in an every situation. I now walk in the comfort that no one can bring me down because I have a Heavenly Father that thinks I’m perfect in his eyes! You have purpose! GOD BLESS YOU ALL🙏🏾❤️
