Watching someone else stutter does make me feel sort of self-conscious. I might think; “Do I look like that? Do I sound like that? Do people feel embarrassed by it the way I do?” I would not let that get in the way of a relationship, though. It is just so rare for me to even meet another stutterer, let alone a girl my age. P.S.
