I feel for you. The physical manifestations of the stutter can be embarrassing and physically exhausting. People you are speaking to often don't know how to react just because they've never seen it before. They think a stutter is just repeating sounds. This is probably not going to be the answer you want to hear but the thing that will help most is becoming more comfortable and accepting of your own stutter. It will help in all areas of the stutter. I know. If someone gave me that advice when I was younger I'd want to strangle them. It's not an easy thing to do, especially when you are living with it every moment of every day, but it will come in time. Be patient with yourself and be kind to yourself. These are weird and stressful times for everyone.
