I don't know what is so negative about wishing for a more solid proof for the effectiveness of methods you propose. I think it's a reasonable request, especially since all stuttering happens out there in the real world, not when you are alone in your safe space (just as you said yourself). If you have videos of those "hundreds of others" not stuttering in public, on the phone etc, please show us.
