I am an air traffic controller. I applied not only because I felt I would like the job very much which I do but also to prove to myself that I could achieve whatever I wanted regardless of the stutter. I took the course and I am now doing on the job training. I feel I can do the job although some days are really hard for me as the blocks appear with much higher frequency and I have to focus a lot not to stutter and get super tired at the end of the shift. Sometimes I feel I just want to give up. The major issue is dealing with myself and keeping the positivity. If I have some more agressive block I get embarassed first, then nervous and worried that more blocks could appear and it just worsens the situation.. How do you overcome this?
