I’m a person who stutters and a speech-language pathology graduate student. If you can, find a stuttering specialist. Not all SLPs are competent in treating stuttering. Hope your SLP focuses on stuttering modification and addressing the feelings that underlie stuttering, as that is an overwhelming majority of the battle.
