Yes, there are those kind of situations, and yes they will be painful and suck. But don't run from them! These next 3 weeks are vital and important for the next 4+ years. It'll be easiest time in your life to make friends if you put in the littlest effort, and i think you'll find people are more mature than they were in highschool. If you are going to spend the next 3-4 weeks holed up in your room it will be a very lonely 4-5 years and you'll probably drop out.
