I suddenly started to stutter at 20. Did anyone have a similar experience? F (20). I've never stuttered in my life, but I've always had undiagnosed mental issues (I'm pretty sure that I have depression or something similar, but healthcare regarding mental health isn't easily accessible in my country, so I can't really do anything about it for now). The last few weeks have been especially bad for me. Two days ago, after a particularly stressful day, I've noticed that I started to stutter. It wasn't very noticeable, but still it was a bit concerning for me. Throughout yesterday I was able to speak as I usually do, without any stuttering, however in the evening the stuttering came back and got pretty severe, I started to stutter in every word and a lot of time couldn't finish the words. Today I'm still stuttering, as severely as I did yesterday. However I've noticed that I stutter less if I whisper or if I am alone. So I was wondering if anyone experienced something similar and how you dealt with this situation.
