"If life was a video game, I would have pressed the exit button long ago." Wow, what a sentence. It's really poetic. I really resonate with you and I'm sure we all do. Having a stutter does make life difficult. Personally I have found to live peace with it, as constantly trying to remind myself that I have an impediment isn't going to magically make it go away. I'm sure you've heard this countless times, but yet again just live with it. I used to look at people who spoke so fluently during presentations and say "I wish I was able to be that fluent." With this comment I would simply ignore other factors in their life. Many people deal with disabilities that are invisible or ones that are really visible. Either way, we are all facing battles whether that'd be physically or mentally. Just like a video game in the sense, pressing exit would seem like the only option at the moment. However, if you choose to continue and beat the final level you would soon be happy that you didn't choose to exit. Just keep playing the game, life is hard for everyone in various ways.
