It's not unheard of. I've met a few people who even started stuttering after 18. If you live in the US, go to an NSA group and definitely go to the conference next year. The biggest thing you can do is not live your life around your stutter. Don't hold back, stutter openly and proudly because there's nothing wrong with it. It's part of who you are and it's worth accepting. www.westutter.org
