I am a male, but similar background as you. My add went diagnosed because I did not have the hyperactivity so I was not a classroom distraction. Also, I think since stuttering was everyones focus, the adhd went unnoticed. I was diagnosed with ADHD a year ago at age 38. If you dont mind sharing, what meds are you on for adhd and how long has it been? Ive tried wellbutrin and adderall. Adderall has definitely improved the adhd, but I never really noticed a difference with stuttering. I have seen similar experiences on here. I personally dont think stuttering is a symptom of ADHD, but one doctor told me (and i think there are studies) that adhd is more prevalent with stutterers. I have been wondering from a personal perspective if the adhd has affected my ability to use fluency techniques in real-life scenarios.
