No Stuttering When Talking/Conversing But Always There When Reading Aloud?

No Stuttering When Talking/Conversing But Always There When Reading Aloud? I've had a stutter my whole life. I've always known its a psychological problem because there have been phases in my life where it seemed to have gone away. I could talk with friends with ease, have a full blown conversation without any hassle. But if someone were to ask me to read text aloud. Like if you're in school and taking turns to read a passage.....then the stuttering is imminent. I've never been able to read aloud without stuttering. EVER. Talking, yes. But not reading aloud. I'm starting to wonder if it has something to do with the mental processes involved in reading versus talking to someone. When you're reading, you're inputing a stream of words into your brain and preparing to enunciate them. But when you're talking, there is no input stream....its a more rapid spontaneous brain activity. Do you have this problem as well?
