This is the way. I have stuttered since childhood, but always wanted to work in public affairs. I went to college in DC to pursue my goals and stuttered throughout college, but never let that stop me. Ten years later, I’m the Head of Government Affairs for an energy company, where my job is to communicate with politicians and the media all day. I still stutter ever day, and some days are better than others. You cannot let your stutter determine your ambitions. As stutterers, we fight every day to be heard and we are stronger for it.
