Dude I covert stutter, and back when Captain America Civil War came out, a friend and I went to watch it. Then we went to the Wing Stop that was right next to the theater after the movie was over. I had never gone to WS so I wasn’t aware of the ordering process. Friday night. 10:30ish. The place was packed from the crowd who went to the 8PM showing. I was already stumbling over my words when I was talking with my friend in line and during the ordering process. So when it got to my name and I had completely blocked, she had already gotten some impression of me and my speech. She probably thought I was drunk or was under the influence of something. She gave me a look, and then gave my friend a look that conveyed something like, “Are you listening to this? Are you seeing what I’m seeing?” After a few seconds of blocking on the beginning sound of my name (“Eh” sound), I gave up and just said Mark. My name was Mark lmao She knew I was bullsitting and after I had gotten my food and sat down my friend gave me shit. He knows I stutter I just never felt comfortable mentioning it to him or anyone. I was bright red the entire time we were there lol
