It's hard to say how bad it is, but generally there's a block every sentence or two at least. It changes based on comfort level. Speaking in front of a group causes me a lot of anxiety, but I talk quite a bit among people I know. It hasn't really changed that much in the past 25 years or so (I'm in my late 30's.) If you're wondering, I met my wife at work. Our first date was about 2 weeks after I finished college, and I was at a point in my life where I was starting to take more risks in talking to girls and asking for dates. During college I probably went out with 2 girls total, and nothing came of either of those. Then I just happened to meet the right person and everything worked out.
