My dad stuttered when he was a kid, but it went away during puberty. If you still stutter after that, I think you're stuck with it (though I'm not 100% sure on the science behind that). I'm 32 and am a lead in the video game industry, which I never thought I'd be able to do with my stutter. Over time you learn confidence, and that it's fine to stutter. Yes it hurts emotionally, and yes I have bad days still. But we either deal with it the best we can and continue forward, or we don't deal with it and regress into nothingness. I choose the former. It's not easy, and it won't be easy for you. But let yourself make mistakes and learn from them as best as you can.
