My SLP pretty much drilled in my head to not out right say name when asked. Say it in a sentence with fluency skills such as stretches at the beginning of the first word then blending the words together. But you have to practice once in a while to get good at it. It becomes second nature after a while. Example What not to do: Person: what's your name? You: John/Jane Doe What to do: Person what's your name? You: my name is, or I am called, call me (something to that effect) John/Jane Doe. Hope this helps.
