Hey Bubbles, I know it's hard especially when preparing for an interview. I don't know which kind of job you're pursuing but the corporate world is really ugly for people like us. Some suggest you to let the interviewer know beforehand that you're a stutterer. I personally advise you not to do that. The job you're applying for sounds like one that requires a special skill set. Just letting your interviewer know beforehand makes you seem very unconfident. When other likely skilled people apply as well it puts you in a low light. What I did: Pretty much gaslighted myself into believing that I'm the only valuabe fit they can find. Sounds weird but the point is I emotionally detached myself from "I need this job / I want this job" to "They need me". This makes you see the interview way differently to your favor. I also practiced the "tell us about yourself" part because that's the hardest part. After making it through introducing yourself and your background for 3 minutes it'll be a piece of cake after that. I stuttered like a maniac during the interview, I really did. But even non-stutterers stutter during their interview and that's fine. But I remebered that I am capable. Your interviewers pick up on that self-depricating mindset that you may have during the interview and that plays a big role in selection later on. They may notice the stutter in person but as soon as it's over they'll see you as confident because you were. So concluded: Act like they need you and you dont need them in any way. And practice your introduction.
