I think it is possible to have a fulfilling life even with stuttering but the degree of limitation matters. Some of us are able to communicate more easily than others. There are those whose lives approach ‘normalcy’ and those who are unable to express a single sound because of severe blocking. The social and professional stigma continues. I’ve been more fortunate than many others. My life has been successful despite my disfluency. Not the same for everyone.
