I totally resonate with that last sentence.. But as frustrating as it is, you shouldn't think too much about it! Just be yourself and don't worry about others' behaviour. We never know what actually goes through their thought-process, be it intentional avoidance or just them being absent minded due to some other life issues. I'm no expert, but overthinking definitely increases our tendency to stutter. So at the end of the day, don't ever let this hold you back from speaking your mind!
