Severe stuttering is a disability though. As for the toxic masculinity thing, I'd lean towards practicality. You should accept your stutter, but it's not wrong to suggest that society values men that can express thenselves and that stuttering hinders that for most people. It's just how things are, and dismissing those feelings as toxic masculinity won't change that. Maybe it's just me, but I'm under no illusions that something that affects my quality of life is best described as a weakness. The difference is whether or not you press on despite the hand that you were dealt.
