I think for me it was a little bit of time and also this solution, also with a little bit of acceptance. I’ve heard many people say this and I don’t completely understand it but it is true that “the more you embrace your stutter and the less you actually care about stuttering, the less you’ll stutter.” Which for me began with getting around the right people who were accepting of me and didn’t make me feel like the butt of the joke all the time, and I don’t think it was a coincidence that they were also the most ambitious and forward thinking people as well. Being around people like this has helped my confidence a lot and also made me appreciative other things in life which helped remove that crippling anxiety of just saying my name. Regardless it’s a process, and my main thing would be to encourage you to have faith that it will all work out in the end. Life is great! Hope this helps!
