For what it’s worth, speech therapy is incredibly helpful if you put in the work. It sounds like they put in a lot of work themselves, so there’s no reason that wouldn’t be effective also, but it helps to have someone show you techniques that are actually going to be helpful rather than the trial and error of doing it alone.
