For me, rephrasing my thoughts from "my stuttering was a lot worse today" to "I stuttered more today" has helped a lot. Since it's not going away, I've found that treating its frequency as something that's neither good nor bad has helped me change my mindset and consistently be less stressed when it occurs more.
