Yep, Paxil, like many SSRI anti anxiety meds essentially boosts seratonin and down regulate dopamine in the brain, reducing anticipatory anxiety, especially for stutterers. Not a cure, but an effective way of improving fluency, especially if coupled with fluency shaping techniques. There are other SSRI meds than don’t make you put on weight as much as others though. I take Prozac.
