Wow, isn’t it crazy a lot of us have similar stories? I have met one person who stutters my entire life, and he was a kid I was in class with in high school. He still raised his hand and answered and had one way worse than me. I still think about him often, and how amazing that type of bravery is, bravery that I really don’t know much about yet in my life. It’s important to have a community, so I’m happy you joined!! I know the thoughts get dark sometimes and none of my friends or family really understands that, so it’s nice to hear people on here share things that NO ONE ELSE would understand besides those who stutter. Like the absolute horror of leaving a voicemail, forcing us to speak after a beep. Ugh.
