Hey David, thanks for the comment! Sorry for the misunderstanding, I haven't found a cure to stuttering. I still mildly stutter. I describe myself as a PWS. I will edit my post to fix that. I used the word "conquer", not cure in the post. I do believe that "curing" stuttering may not be possible for everybody. But I argue that no matter what, everyone should at least try their hardest to improve. Everyone can benefit from some improvement. That is why I don't believe giving hope is a bad thing. We are in a subreddit for stuttering support, why not share some improvement stories? If this subreddit is filled only with empty advice and nothing really beneficial, why should this group exist? I understand that there are people trying to scam others and sell them a "cure", but I am not one of them. My improvement took 2 years of hard and consistent work in the gym, speech therapy office and at home. I just want to share what worked for me. The FTE term is one of those things.
