Had a medical procedure where I needed to lay almost completely still for 8 hours in hospital “group” recovery room. Nurse forgot to give me call button, and I kept blocking while trying to get her attention .i heard her being very overworked as this was during a Covid surge. When I later talked to my parents on the phone from the bed, I said “I can’t talk to my nurse”. Pretty sure she overheard bc she fulfilled my needs but suddenly got *very* cold toward me. Honestly, I told my doctor about my stutter and I expected he’d pass it along.
