I'm a school teacher. I never knew about Speech Pathologists until I was about 24 and just accepted my stuttering. I still haven't seen one since they are so hard to get an appointment. I am now 31 and I am able to get away with my stuttering without it being too much of a hindrance. I think it affects me mentally more than anything.
