I get this too, people are often telling me I’m so polite, or too polite. I’m also British living in SoCal so most people here are like 😳 😅. I wonder too, if my sensitivity to others, and my patience and graciousness is because I desperately hope I’ll get in return from them because my deepest fear is being mocked or dismissed as stupid.
