look into openstutter in youtube. For me it is incredibly important to let go of the need to speak fluently. Every time I kick myself for stuttering, my subconscious learns that the act of 'speaking' is scary. So next time I try to talk to someone, it goes into freeze mode (and also fight/flight mode in a stressful situation). We call it 'blocks'. My subconscious is trying to protect me from a perceived scary situation, and its doing it the best way it knows how. So, 'letting go' is about freedom, freedom from the need to appear fluent, freedom from pretending to be someone that I'm not, freedom from overthinking, anxiety, etc.
