By middle and high school, we don't notice her stuttering anymore, she also says she doesn't stutter anymore. I also am almost completely fluent starting from the age of 30, I was a very mild stutterer to begin with. Speech therapy didn't help me and I never tried it again after free public school speech therapy. I think being less anxious, accepting the stutter, and talking more at work helped me gain fluency. Also starting a family and settling into work/family made me even less anxious. I can pretty much pass for a non-stutterer now.
