Here's a few ways to do it that have worked for me - and continue to work for me. 1. Focus on your breathing. Keep it constant. By focusing on your breathing you begin to practice what people call "mindfulness". 2. Reframe your thoughts to positive growth. Instead of focusing on the negative, begin to think "I'm improving with every word I speak" and "I am prepared" etc. etc. 3. Accept that you're anxious and/or nervous about future situations. Then make the commitment to stay relaxed and calm.
