The awkward smile

The awkward smile I'm sure we've all gotten that awkward smile from people who we were talking to and started stuttering and they just started giving you that awkward uncomfortable smile... Or the "it's OK take your time" I get it, you're trying to be nice but would you tell someone who didn't stutter to "take your time" I don't want pitty, I wanna be treated like a normal person.
