I’m 35 and married with a 10 month old. My stuttering is hereditary, passed down from my great grand mother, no one else in my family stutters and I have a huge family. I’ve been stuttering my entire life and I’ve felt the same way you are feeling. Some times are definitely harder than others and it may seem like your speech is holding you back from doing things you may want to do. But your stuttering can only hold you back or hinder you if you let it. I would love to know what it’s like to be able to carry on a conversation without having to hyper focus on every word I say wondering what word I’ll have a block on today. We stutter and while it can suck, it’s a part of you. Trust me when I say it will get better!
